Site Issues

E-mail Print PDF

We have switched to a new hosting service so that we can continue to update the features of our site.  In the past few days, I've moved over 50,000 files from the old server to the new and I'm finally done working out all the bugs.

Pretty much everything is back to normal and I'm working on some new features that I will be publishing in the next couple of weeks including a new online version of the popular Parliament House exhibit that was featured at past Come Out With Pride events.

If you have any issues moving about the site, please let me know so that I can figure it out.  The site as an anti-hacking program that can sometime lock you out from the site.  If it happens, just send me and email and I'll take care of it.  Happy surfing.

New Search Features Added

E-mail Print PDF

Today I am really excited about an improvement I made to the Gay Orlando History web site.  The SEARCH feature has now been SUPED UP!  When you enter a word in the SEARCH box, it will now search the entire site, including the history timeline, gallery images, and some up until now hidden PDF's.

This is really great news, because now when I scan in old newsletters and newspaper clippings, and use an Opitical Character Recognition program, you will be able to search text that is on the document electronically.  Isn't technology AMAZING.

So if you are interested in a certain person, place, or thing in our GLBT history, type it in and see what you find.
