Miss Cherry ( A tall, thin, black drag queen from the early to mid- 1970s)
Lana Lane (Even the girls loved Lana Lane - God she was gorgeous and I believe the first with real tits, which she used to bare and we would all go wild!)
Apple Love (She had polio and kind of toddled back and forth to the stage.) See an entry about her on the Joe.My.God website.

Oh, and one of my other favorites (besides Rusty Fawcett and Lana Lane) was Lady LaTonya. She was a black drag queen noted for her dancing and doing the song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"; by Diana Ross and the Supremes while twirling a billowing skirt round and round, higher and higher over her head. In 1974 at the Palace on Humphries, I tipped her a $20 bill thinking it was a five. No wonder she gave me a bear hug that nearly broke a rib! The last I heard of her, she had moved to New Orleans many years ago and had hit the skids.

Mama Mushroom was another popular drag queen from the 1970s. She entertained at the Palace on Humphries and possibly at the Cactus Room on Bumby. I heard she died, but you never know.

Virginia Ham performed at the Phoenix. Was filming for a travel video and she came over and put her face in my crotch. Afterwards I had a little drag queen face on the front of my pants from the makeup.
